Day Three Hundred and Thirty Six

I drove to Hoquaim today to visit Riley and her new family. She is fitting in very well. They were so impressed at how well trained she was. They thought they were going to end up with a dog they would have to put a lot of work into and were pleasantly surprised that they found one that they didn’t have to. I had lunch with them (Elk meat chili)) and then we took a walk to the huge lot and lake that Riley plays in. She is so calm around them and she loves the little girls. I feel more and more that I did the right thing.
